Installed B&M Ripper STS + Momo **** & Boot

While the forums were down I installed my B&M Ripper short throw; and I know previously people have said that it isn't hard... but in all actuallity i did have some difficulties doing it. Dont get scared away, it isn't really that hard given the right working enviornment, but my work shop was parked on my busy street on ramps that arent all that high; which sucks... a lot, trust me.

After the struggle (I was too frustrated and ****ed at the bolts that wouldn't come off to remember to take pictures of the process) and everything was put back together three hours later, I set about to removing that ****ty stock plether boot, removing its wire rim and taking my momo shift boot and cutting/sewing it to the correct rectangular shape (had to cut a triangle out of it.. since it was round, was easy enough; just sewed three sides and then took all the excess on the last side and folded a flap and cut out the excess.)

I went through all this trouble because the momo shift boot threads onto the base of the shift **** for a nice clean look, I really like how they feel and look now!

The shifter appeared to be about 1-2" lower and the throw is GREATLY reduced (B&M claims 40% reduction,) in conjunction with the 1-2" shorter lever, I wasn't really able to conceive how short the throw really would be

Is the "ripper" any different than the regular B&M STS, or is it the same thing?
