Flip out key

I realize this is a kind of BS post, but the search function is disabled so I can't search. But there once was a time when I had found a maxima parts web page that sold a mercedes like flip out key w/keyless entry for I believe a 95-97 maxima. I have since lost the link to the page and was wondering if anyone still had it or knew of a way that I could find the page again. Thanks!

paradox systems makes it....they are a pos though...trust me I have been through 2 of them and none worked...kept sending it back to them to have it programmed from my factory fob....they kept sending it back to me saying it was programmed...but it never worked...all it would do was put my windows down and 1/20 times unlock the car when I pressed it..wouldn't do anything else!

I saw this key on ebay a while back and actually bought the damn thing ($45). Its a flip key kinda like the VW's have. The only thing is that if there is a way you would have to insert your alarm in the key and do something with it. I have it for a while and never bothered with it.

I'm with michael. I was litterally the last person to ever buy one from Paradox before he pulled it.

The thing is a joke. The key is nice. The style/quality is nice. It works (as a key), etc. But want to use the remote? Forget it. It works 1/10 times if you are lucky. Useless.

I actually never cut mine so I might sell it of someone offers me close to what I paid. ?

It just so happens I saved the page in my favorites so here is the link but keep in mind it is not accessable through his site because he doesn't sell it anymore.

I emailed a guy at paradox systems and he said if at least 10 people are willing to buy a flip key he will manufacture them for those people. The only this is he will not be providing programming for the remote. Which doesn't matter to me because I just want the key.. So email me at kingkaiser1@tmail.com if ur interested.. If u think this is a scam u can email the guy at paradox just log onto the web site.. Please get back to asap

I bought mine on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AMERFB%3AIID
lockyourcar is the seller. He probably still can make more of those keys if you ask him.
It looks pretty good since its written Nissan Maxima on it. But after a few months, I don't really bother using this key everytime and unlock the car and start it, I just my old car key in the keychain and I use that key. But this thing makes a real good looking keychain...but for $30?...yeah still worth it

I bought mine from Paradox GD. Send it atleast 5 times in... neve worked.. went to home depo to get the key carves like my OEM and it would even fit in! I was like screw it. And I sent it back and got a refund. That's still very good business in my opinion. Flip out key is too much damn trouble for a KEY! A KEY!

I talked to him about returning mine but he said there would be a 20% restocking fee. Screw that! I don't call that 'very good business'. And I also didn't like that when I asked him a million times before ordering that he has had good success with programming the keys and he said yes. He said his works 90% of the time. When I e-mailed him later stating mine worked under 10%, he replied 'sounds normal to me'. I was p.ed. So are you saying that after you had it cut, it did NOT work?! That's not good.

Yours says NIssan Maxima?!!! That is pretty cool. Mine is just plain. Do you have a pic.? I still don't see the point if the alarm does not work. So now you are carrying around a huge key and you still need to carry your stock remote. I like to have as small a load as possible in my pocket. ???

YEAH I DIDNT REALLY WANT THE COMBO BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT ITS NOT GONNA BE PROGRAMMED RIGHT..SO IT LOOKS LIKE IM CARRYING A KEY RING WITH A REMOTE AND A SMALLER REMOTE....BUT I LOVE THE SWITCHBLADE ACTION, LOL, IT JUST SNAPS RIGHT OUT SO QUICK....BUT I REALLY SHOULD PUT IT DOWN NOW, I GOT IT THIS MORNING I STILL PLAY WITH IT...

BUT AS FAR AS THE SMALL LOAD, IT WOULD BE PERFECT IF I CAN GET MY ALARM INEGRATED INTO A KEY LIKE THIS....THEN IT WOULD LOCK UNLOCK CAR/LOWER WINDOWS, POP TRUNK, AND AUTO START....OH WELL, MAYBE I CAN GET IT INTEGRATED, BUT I LOVE THIS KEY AS IS..

MINE LOOKS NEWER THAN THIS BUT HERE GOES:

Ha! That's funny. I have had that link for well over a year. It has always worked (even after it was unaccessable from Paradox's site). It worked when I first posted it here. He finally made it innactive - I'm guessing due to this thread/recent activity. Sorry. I'll describe it for you if you want but, no offense, it isn't important enough to me to go home, take a pic with my camera, upload it to my computer, upload it to the web, post here with a link to it - all for a key that doesn't work. :I

I have the same key but there isnt anything in there. The key works great but no alarm internals. I may have my friend do it for me. Ive used it no more then 20 times cause it gets to bulky on the key chain.
