bulbs

Hey guys, about to purchase a '98 maxima, and was thinking of purchasing some goodies for it now I was thinking about changing the stock headlight bulbs that it had to sylvania but I'm not too sure what kinda of blub type it needs. I know 2000 max's need h4 9003, but not sure about the 4th gens. Someone clue me in....

Thanks a lot in advance...

Later..

Headlights are 9004 but I recommend converting to 9007; very easy to do.

Ten minutes, tops. It's not so much of brighter as it is much better beam pattern; you can see more with the same amount of light.

This is the thread I've been looking for (search doesn't work )...

I wanted to put PIAA's in, but I wasn't sure which kind to get, or if they will melt the housings? I read the several tutorials, but they are somewhat vague. Is there a specific model number I should get for the PIAA's? I would like to keep it as simple as possible, just a bulb switch

Thanks!

Here's the How-To (straight from the sticky): http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=312531

If you want PIAAs, you want these bulbs: http://www.customenterprise.com/view.../vts/design004 NOTE: these are 9004 bulbs; Plug n' Play

don't but the piaa's from custom maxima, they charge you up the ***. I got mine last week from ltb motorsports much cheaper. fogs & lights, forgot to get the piaa 1157 to match at the same time for the clearance lights, so I have to order those right now.

http://www.ltbmotorsports.com/

PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9004's and H3 fogs

(these are before I just put in my diamond cut clear corners ... and clearance lights havent been brightened yet.)
