Fuel injectors from a 300Z fit maxima?

I heard that fuel injectors from the 300z i dunno what year, that they fit on the 1995-1999 Maximas. If it does how much more HP. Any differences in perfomance wise. Please post if you done it or heard of it. Thanks

Dude, you're never going to believe it, but I put 370's on my car and I gained 150 hp at the wheels!!!

Of course the turbo I put in at the same time may have had more to do with that...

Seriously though, you should do some research before posting stuff like this. That's why everyone is so hard on you. It's a silly question.

No, you won't gain any power by just putting the injectors in. It's not just a 300ZX/Maxima thing. You won't gain power on any car by just swapping to larger injectors if they're not needed.

The only reason people put 300ZX injectors in their car is if they're turbo'd or supercharged. We're maxing out the factory injectors and need bigger ones, it's that simple. If you just put 300ZX injectors in your car without the proper engine management upgrades, your car won't even run. When I first put the 370cc injectors in, my emanage took a dump and the injector harness wasn't working, my car made a whopping 91 whp that first run until we fixed it.

'95-96 300ZX injectors work, they're the purple top ones. SR20DET injectors work also, they're the ones I'm using.

And yes, you are a NEWB.

Not really, I'm actually a pretty nice guy. Notice I answered your question

But you go to any forum, any automotive forum whatsoever and ask a silly question like that and you'll get flamed. Most likely way worse than you did here. First part of your question wasn't so bad, shows you've done some reading. But the second part is where you lost it. Hp gain from fuel injectors? Can't go around parading ignorance and then not expect to catch a little crap.

I got 2 SR20DET fuel rails w/ injectors for $150. So 8 injectors in total. Gave a couple to someone who found out he had a bad one and he got them tested and they showed 400cc after cleaning, 380 cc before.
