i installed my MEVI yesterday!!!

Yup!! After letting my MEVI sit in my room for many months. With the help of my cousin Roger, we installed the manifold but did not do the wiring and vacuum lines yet. I'm still waiting for my Apexi VAFCII to come in and i'm trying to locate a OEM Nissan vacuum canister, the ones i got came with the ugly round plastic vacuum canister that looks like it belongs in the toilet bowl.

I test drove it after and the engine revs alot faster to the redline than the stock manifold. And the tone of the enigne is wonderful, i can't wait to get it fully functional.

Does anybody know the part number for the OEM Nissan vacuum canister?

Here is the installed pic. I modified the MEVI cover to expose the valve cover a little.

plus, the engine sounds awesome when it changes over from primaries to secondaries!

Taken from the FAQ: 22370-2y500. I ordered it but I was informed that it was on backorder. I went ahead and purchased a canister from NAPA.

Thanks for the comment guys....

I got one question guys who did your own MEVI install.............
What did you guys do about the vacuum right on top of the stock manifold by the TB. I just teed mine of with one of the vacuum source next to the IAC, how about you guys?

Spanish...sorry if you don't dig blue.

abcI30....i just made the precaution...i replaced all the gaskets (TB, IAC, and EGR) including my valve cover (front and back) since it looked like it was starting to leak.
