Hola,

I have a 99 Max SE with the Bose Premium AM/FM/CD/Cassette sound system. It was working beautifully until yesterday when the display decided it didn't need to work anymore. So now the radio functions properly except the display. Is there an easy fix for this without buying a new radio? If I do have to buy a new radio, are there any good places to get an OEM radio, and is it true that it's hard(er) to add an aftermarket HU to Bose speakers? Thanks!

Yes, there is an easy fix (see above link).

If, for whatever reason, you need to buy an OEM radio, then ebay is your best shot.

killcrap: I spent about 5 minutes double-double-quintuple checking that wasn't the problem. My A/C and clock still display perfectly.

Thanks for the link! Does anybody know if Radio Shack still sells resistors?

I'm just lucky I use my Sirius radio through the cassette, so I don't need my display for anything...
