Fog Lights

Ok, i was changing the foglight bulbs and i got one changed, then on the other side, the screw is stripped. can anyone guide me on how to get it out?

I wish. My driver's side fog light has been in place with one screw for about 10 months now. I snapped a screw and the thread is stuck in the bracket. I've torn my hands apart trying to get the damn thing out. A simple solution would be lovely right about now.

I believe the screw is threaded into a nylon plug. Get pliers and pull. And then replace the nylon and screw.

im not sure what the stripped screw looks like cause i havent looked at my fog lights up close just yet but i will have to soon since one of mine is cracked but ive used a file to file a line down the middle of many stiped screws file the line deep enought to get screw driver in there and unscrew it once again i dont know if the screw on the fog light is on the surface or in the fog light but hopfully that helps u out

Hhhmmm.... not a bad idea. Next time I have to change another P.O.S. Silverstar fog bulb I'll try it.

anyone ever touch their fog lights when the light's been on a for a while? Don't! cuz i burned my finger like that.

Well..its not the threads that are stripped...its the freakin screw head. It was put in crooked before, so when i tried changing it...the screw head just got f'd up. i'll try pulling it out somehow, thanks guys.
