My Car No Worky Now Help

Ok so im driving home today and my car sounds a bit louder than normal. So me being the idiot I am I floor it to see what is going on. Well my car then starts to lose power and finally starts bogging out and doesnt go over 2500 rpm. Well I limp her home and then think that it may be the MAF so one of the org guys, Thank god for Nismo97 aka Dave in hickville, comes over and lets me swap out my maf with his. Well it revs again but I left to hastly to go pick up a new one from kragen cause they had one left and closed at 9 and I need my car for work. So I get back put the new MAF on, oh I have a short ram style intake system. And it goes to about 4000 rpm now and then bogs out and dies sometimes. It sounds like I have a vacum leak somewhere but I cant find it at all. When I gas it and let off it sounds like a sucking noise somewhere. I am at a lose for works now. Can anyone point me in some kind of direction. I heard it may be a cylinder. I thought head gasket but there was now coolant in my oil at all and the overflow is still at its max. If anyone wants I can give em a call and let em listen on the phone or something later. I just want my car to at least run for a little bit till I get my new place and my new motor put in and a new car. I may have to get one this weekend if I cant get this thing running right. Thanks for any input or past expeiences

Well since you dont know how to find a vaccume leak Ill tell you. First buy a couple cans of carb cleaner. Then go up to your engine, and sray the carb cleaner were you think the leak is. Listen carefully to the engine rpm, cause when they start to rise thats wher your leak is

Thanks. Ill try that this week when I start going into it. My mechanic has been to busy to take a look but he thinks it may just be the EGR cause he said it sounds like it may be the exhaust trying to get out or the cat may be burnt out or something
