Any Pointers for installing CV axels? I'd like your experiences...
I'm about to install new CV axels, and i was wondering is there anything i should know, like avoiding common mistakes? forgetting something. i just want your experiences, i've done this before on other cars, but not on my max.

I'd do the passanger side first since its much harder to do. I like to takle my jobs by doing hardest things first and the easiest last.
Remember Torque equals force x distance. The longer the pipe the easier. Use this site for additional help -->http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/805
His car has manual just as mine does so I'm sure how much different an automatic would be.

I did this on my 97 max gxe 5 speed a few weeks ago. The passenger side took for ever to get off. The damn thing was rusted in the carrier sleeve. I had to use an air chisel to get it out of the carrier. Other then that its a pretty easy process. On the driver side just make sure you can get a breaker bar or large screwdriver etween the axle and the tranny to pry them apart. Also make sure use a drip pan cause when you pop that axle out all the tranny fluid follows.
