Starter??? NEED HELP

So I live in a really hot area. I parked my car in a cool cement garage and came back to a car that would not start up and hour later. WHen i finally got it to turn over, I did so by pressing the gas(I have an auto). As a result the car started at high rpms. WHen my car started up, the CEL was on. I took it to get scanned and it turned out to be PO340(camshaft position sensor), sensor A, bank 1.
1. Can this effect the starting of the engine?
2. If so, why does it say sensor A, bank 1 when there is only 1 camshaft pos. sensor?
3. Could the reason my CEL came on and said PO340 be from pressing the gas and it starting at a high rpms.

I still have trouble starting it every once in a while.

Yes it can affect starting. Why it says bank 1, I dont know. Maybe it has to do with having a crank shaft position sensor too. I had to change mine too. Very easy job. 5 mins tops.

Ok here is the deal
96 maxima 5sp
A week ago today got tranny back in the car and it has been running great since. No problems.

Yesterday I went to go start my car after work and I put the key in and clutch down, and key went to acc like normal then on, all lights work properly and when I go to crank the car over, its nothing, just like if I was to not have the clutch in. I tried like 5 times nothing. So i let it sit, checked the connections on the starter, all good. So i tried it like 5 minutes later and it started right up, odd ok well weird. I then drove 35 minutes and started it probably 5-10 more times last night without any problems. But today it owuld not start.

Ok i had the flywheel off could it be that sensor reading wrong cuz tranny was out. HOW MUCH IS A NEW SENSOR. SO FAR I THINK I AM GOING TO BUY A STARTER IGNITION SWITHC, NOW MAYBE CAM SENSOR, CLUTCH SWITCH AND REPLACE ALL I GUESS.

ANSWER TO MY OWN POST: OK, so my gf drives an infinit with the same engine as my max. I took her sensor out, reset my ecu, cranked it, and it cranked with no CEL. So it was the camshaft position sensor. I ordered one from napa (65 dollars) and put it in.. This was 2 weeks ago. HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM SINCE......

I think we should start our campaign on cam and crankshaft position sensors. Nissan already knows the vq35 crank/cam pos sensors are bad. But we're not included. Who's in?
