"SE" emblem on 4th gens
I'm thinking of sticking the 5th gen SE emblem on my car.. have a lot of people done this? Probabaly the driver side door is best (where the SE-L emblems went on the 99 limited editions)?
If anyone's got pics and advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

They do look good on the trunk, where the GLE badge goes. On the door would look fine too.

Thanks bruce! I did it in chrome on the 96 but it has chrome inner handles and gauge rings so it looks good all together. For the 98 i didnt want any chrome.

SE emblem
I have got the SE emblem and the maxima emblem of the 5th gen on my car. I think it looks bad ***. Although I put it above the passenger taillight. I think it would still look good on the either door, preferably the driver door.

The chrome one was brand new from the dealer so it came with the emblem tape on it (all ready to go!) and i stuck it to the dash. The Black ones were used so i put 3M double sided tape on the back of it and cut it out like it was OEM. I used the clear 3M stuff but the grey stuff (which is stickier) would probably work better. Buy it at Homedepot or Wal-Mart. Clean the surface really well, using alcohol.
I did my 96 grill with the stock MAXIMA letters and used hot melt glue and that was a bad idea. The letters started to fall off after about a year. Looked good though.

you could use 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive. i picked it up at Kragen. its really sticky and it dries real quick. its a light light yellow color so be careful if you smudge it. its super strong too.
