just an off topic question. (1) did the clear tail mod. will keeping the clear bulb for the turn signal be illegal? or should I might as well just change it to 'hyperwhite' ? (2) Will a 1157 bulb work in a 1156 socket? I only ask this because in my civic, the turn signals use 1157 bulbs yet have only one color output like the 1156; not two like the 1157 usually do. I don't know if this is only with the civic socket?? Also, where is a decent site to buy 'hyperwhites'. I don't want to pay 20 bucks on ebay for polargs for two bulbs. All input is appreciated. I believe turn signals must be amber. Also I do not think an 1157 will work in an 1156 socket because theres 2 pins on an 1157 and only one on the 1156.
