99 ecu no screw!!!!

99 ecu no screw!!!!

i have a 99 se auto (cali spec) and when i got under the dash to check the ecu there is no screw. is this bad and how do i fix it and will it effect the car cuz its been like this for like 5 months?

Look in there, there will be a white small phillips type screw in there, be VERY careful turning it..

i think the screw fell in the ecu!

yea take a flash lite and look, it is hard to see but there is a little groove on the white things right on the inside. same on 2000 - up altima;s

there is no screw sticking out like the other models. you have to stick in a small phillph and it will work

oh cuz i went to do it and i put the screw driver in and the screw fell in i could hear it in there but ill check in the am. thanx 4 ur help

Isn't the screew under the plastic seal if I am not mistaken? Pull of the seal, you'll see it.
