Asking cuz I know 95/96 models dont have cupholders. Can you easily switch out that with a 97+?

Ive used both consoles and I like the 95-96 better for holding cups. The 97-99 looks better but it really only fits cans and small/medium cups. Evan though the 95-96 has a hidden BIG holder at least it has one! Not to mention the 95-96 has a rear ashtray, coin holer (that i hate BTW), and a buisness card holder to boot.

Oh, come on! The coin holder is the best for small toggle switches. Now the ash tray I hate. Its just another place for passenger to stiff nasty ****. Or it makes them think they can smoke in the car.

My 97 has all that stock (except the hidden large cup holder) PLUS two round cup holders by the hand brake. I don't have any problems with my cup holders, can fit bottles and cans in them including 600ml coke bottles, which makes my friends jealous

And for the record, 95s do not have the big cup holder under the armrest. That was dded for 96.

One disables the top speed limiter on my GXE. The other used to disconnect my drop resistor, but now it's not hooked up to anything.

There is actually a buisness card holder in all 4th gens, I just noticed it the other day. Open the lid and there is a spot at the front of the box. Its also where the huge cup holder fits into. The large cup holder fits all 4th gens, but in the 97-99 there is not enough room left in the box to fit a regular CD case when the big holder is inplace. In the 95-96 there is room for many CD's and the cup holder. In english the 95-96 storage bin is larger than the 97-99. Also the lids are not interchangeable, just an FYI.
