I think I want to put in strobes while I'm redoing all the bulbs in my lights up front.

Anyone have these?

Where can I get some strobes to mount either inside my headlight clusters or in my fog lamps?

Thanks!

yes i gotem

I had installed on my 92GXE bout 2 yrs ago i just tookem off and am planning to put them on my 95

any local hook up shop should have them.. them come as a bulb and a little board with a big capacitors to turn them on.. these are the ones that flash random.. don't pay more than $20 bucks a light and thats expensive

unless u want the show-Me bulbs like the cops have..they are brighter and come with a control box so u can set them to blink in pattern as opposed to the random ones i have..

Re: yup

i have strobes in my headlight and parking lights on my 96, i went to PEP Boys they sell them there individually for $12 well worth it, they lasted me so far over 2 months with no problems, nice and bright at night!! just make sure to put an inline fuse (3amp) on the power lead goin to them to protect em from shortin out or from surges from battery. the parking lenses just take them off the car and pop the strobe light into the main hole and twist back on the 1157 bulb socket, you may have to snip off one tooth on the socket to make the wires fit correctly in the housing. Headlights are even easier, just remove your headlight bulbs and manuver the bulbs into the housing and AROUND where the headlight glass sits...(look throught the headlight lense when you are doin it, its much easier that way) then just wedge in the headlight bulb carefully and tighten them on with that black ring and u r done!!!! any more questions fell free to ask me..

Buy the whole package from a dealer if they will sell you one. Switch, power supply, bulbs.

drill 1" hole, put strobe light in crew it down with 2 screws. plug strobe to 15' wire (ea. plug has 3 wires red, black, white) and then plug 15' wire to relay box. you get everything in the kit you just have to buy a swicth about $3 in radio shack. louis is a dealer he sells the NOVA packs. NOVA makes the SHOW ME packs. his # is 401-348-0140. if you buy the NOVA pack you don't have to say you have the real ones just show them. i have them in headlights, bumper lights, fog lights total of 6 bulbs. tell louis freddie from new jersey gave you the info.

WAIT. Don't get these kind of strobe, you'll regret it. Get the weatherproof kind with the rubber bases. Check my web site you'll see what I mean. Actually the strobe pix are hidden so look at these links:

I assume this guy Louis can hook you up with the right ones.

I do not have any in my fogs, it just looked too painful to get in there...

Later,

WHOA

Dude, I don't want to get that crazy.... Here's all I want.

I want one in each of my headlights, and MAYBE one in each of my clear bumpers. I just want to have one tiny little switch hidden near my ebrake boot that I can use to show off to my friends once in a while.

Can I do that?

What if I go to PEP BOYS and get the wimpy ones, mount them in my headlights. Then what do I need? A switch, a hot lead, a ground, and will the just flash together or what? I think I'm losing interest in this project.
