Sup Fellas,

I have a 2k1 Maxima and I have Whelen Strobes installed in the headlights and in my 2k2 tail-lights! ;o) I have also recently aquired the 2k2 headlights and I want to put my strobes in those too! I noticed though, that you may have to cut a hole in the headlight base to insert the strobes!!! Does anyone w/the 2k2 headligts have strobes installed? Is it worth the risk....I mean, can it be done safely without ruining the lights? I will be installing my 2k2 headlights this weekend so Holla back....

Damn you picked the the right type of strobes.

I have the same Whelen strobes with a 6strobe controller. My only problem is how did you install them even on your 2K1 headlight assembly? Cause even there you have to cut into the reflector inside.

I want to install them, they been just chilling here, but at the same time dont want to destroy the assembly trying to install them. Another problem is that the bastard required a 1" hole.

I'll post some pics of the strobes in my web-page... but they drilled like a quarter sized hole in each headlight housing, just big enough for the strobe to fit through and rubber cemented the base of the stobe but to the top of the headlight base so it didn't fall all the way through...it looks clean too! I figured it would be the same type of install for the 2k2's but I wanted to be sure...
