Uh, check your brake fluid- mine did same thing. Run the codes on your ECU for the ce light, and the battery...uh check it to, see if its charged. If its old battery just get a new one anyway.

looks like you got ripped off on the car. i wonder if the seller even told you that he suspects so-and-so to be wrong in the car, BEFORE you bought it, but i'm doubting that happened. why did you even look to purchase the car anyway if all the lights were on, did you bother to ask the seller what (s)he thought was wrong with it (ie, what was causing all those lights to be on?). good luck...i'll guess that some of the codes are setting other codes off, and therefore, not EVERYTHING that is throwing a code is actually faulty, and a lot of other things could probably use maintenance instead of replacement...good luck with it all.

Don't totally freak him out... Reset the ECU, see if it shows the same codes when it comes back on.

Think you need to check and make sure the gauges are connected correctly first of all. Then reset the ECU like the guy above said and see what codes u get. Some of the stuff is just being triggered off as bad because of the real cause.
You need to spend some good time troubleshooting this car.
I am sure you were smart enough to know that there had to be something wrong when you see Check engine light on the dash when you bought the car. Hope you didnt pay him alot of money for this car.

go in the FAQ for resetting the ECU and stuff...

I bet your guages are the problem. I hope you know that the spedometer tranmits all the info to the ECU coming from the speed sensor connected on the transmisson as well and probably tons of other stuff...When the speedo goes bad it will give you tons of codes. Seems like this guy didnt do a good job of connecting the spedo and other gauges and so u are seeing all these problems.

Also when a new speedo is installed it has to be calebrated for the type of car it will be installed on...dont know if this was done.

If you are mechanically incline i would recommend taking your guages out and making sure everything is connected properly and where it should be. I cannot help you much with this cause i have never dont it.

I did have the spedo go bad on me and i got it replaced at nissan with another OME speedo which the calibrated. cost me $430...
