Headlights dim and RPM"s dip low whenever I roll up my windows. HUH?

Watup guys,

At night when I get home and park my car on my driveway, I roll my windows up. Whenver I do, my headlights would get noticably dimmer and my RPMs would also get lower while I'm rolling them up.

Could this be the battery? Alternator? Is it something I should be worried about?

Thanks in advance

I'd take a guess that your alternators not charging your battery correctly and its about to die. or your batteries on its last leg....Take your car to pepboys or autozone and have them do a free battery test if your batteries fine its your alternator.....

Check battery..i now the alternator runs everything once started...My alternator is fine and I had the problem..I thought it had to do with the class D amp I had, so I got a yellow top Optima battery. Problem solved!!

You need a HighAmp Alternator like DEEZO does. He has 200amp alternator and it does not dim. I am sure a 160+ will stop hte dimming.

I never noticed the RPM but I did notice the dimming lights.....sometimes its slightly worse then others.....you think that is bad....one time when I saw getting my car fixed I had a rental cavalier and when you roll the window up and down the inside frame of the door gets literally sucked in and then out when the window is rolled back down...also you can use the panic button while the car is driving....that was always a good joke when I drove past construction people with my hands in the air......cheap *** chevy....thank god it was for only 2 days
