my car idles at 850 rpm in neutral, but in drive it goes down to 750 (When stoped) shouldn't it be the other way around?

 

With the AC and all other accessories off, in neutral the idle should be at 650-750(depending on auto or manual). With AC on, it should be 100 more. The idle in gear does not matter as much as it does in neutral.

 

Mines auto, ac is farked so i don't use it... any other ideas?

 

I would not worry about it too much.
