new idea for a mod..

I've been thinking about different things to do with my maxi. The one thing that I utilize a lot is the remote window down feature. But once the i get the a/c going, I just close all four windows. Is there any way to wire a switch that will close all four windows at the same time without having to do two at a time? Call it laziness or what, but I'd think it'd be something nice to have especially in hot weather

Word Ant! Although if you do all four and sunroof and the same time it trips a momentary saftey switch on the circuit.

Ive been researching the viper alarms.. and im pretty sure you need the motor module.... You need those to hook the viper up the the windows. A lil more expensive.

It would be nice to have the windows roll up cause sometimes you forget you left one open and have to go back in (damn i miss my VR sometimes) use the key etc.

you guys want 530T window module from DEI. I installed 2 of these one per pair of windows. Now each switch in my car is one touch up and one touch down. Makes life easier when i park the car and just tap up on all 4 switches(drivers door) I ran wires into each door of the car making any switch at any door one touch up and down.
Adding them to a remote is even easier, all you need to do is use a spare channel on your existing alarm and poof! windows up or down by remote!

Guys your really not missing anything not having a sunroof. They leak. The big @ss hole in the roof makes the chassis more flexy. Finally, thats about thrity extra Ibs at the very top of the car which greatly effects the COG.

No and no.

Is anyone actually having a prob with leaking?

Oh man, I don't read the 4th gen forum for weeks, I come back, and the first thread I click on has instructions for rolling up the windows with the remote...I love it.

You need modules to accompany the Viper alarm systems and you'll be able to roll the windows up. If you had a 5th gen with auto up/down you wouldn't need a module.
