Driver Side Window

Driver Side Window
Hey Everyone-
I just bought a '98 Maxima SE 5spd and had a quick question about a problem I discovered. My driver side window does not roll down all the way. Every other window in the car will roll down all the way. It rolls down with about 2 inches showing. Is this something I could possibly fix? Has anyone here experienced this problem before? How much would it cost to fix if I took it to a mechanic? Thanks for all the help!

I haven't heard of that happening, but I suggest that you take the door panel off and see if something is blocking the window. That's what I would do. Maybe aftermarket speakers were installed that are too deep, or one of those styrofoam blocks inside might have fallen into the path of the window. Also, check the rails that the window slides through for any irregularities.

I think that he meant "every window other than the driver's side window rolls down"
First of all, does the motor still make noise like it's still working? If so, do what Micah said just open the door panel to see if their is any debris in the way of the window. The motor works but there is something blocking the way. Good Luck
