Am I the only one that prefers my 95-96 tweeter placement to the newer placement in the doors? I think it looks bad as hell........ and probably provides better imaging.... although I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

 

You talking about on the pillars going up the windshield??

 

you mean the 97-99 tweeter placemetn when it's int he doors themselves, NOT the pillars. I think it's better cuz it's closer to the woofer

 

mine didn't come with tweeters so I put them in the black plastic piece behind the side mirrors. looks and sounds pretty good.

 

the closer to the woofer, the less phasing problems.

 

Ya I was talkin about the tweeters in the 95/96 being in the pillars... i think it looks better if nothing else

 

To be honest it creates a nasty soundstage in my opinion... When I put in my new tweeters I actually cut the grill right next to the woofer since it is an odd shaped grill and put the tweeter right in there.. Still not as good of imaging as kicks but I have found that kicks+clutch pedal= a very hard time in design.
