Bumpstop

Where is the bumpstop located

Below the strut mount and on top of the strut itself. When the strut compresses it acts as somewhat of a cushion... it stops the strut from hitting the strut mount

You know that rubber "accordian" looking thing on your struts (otherwise known as the dustboot) - the bumpstops are built into these.
