can KS still be bad even with no ghost code?

can KS still be bad even with no ghost code?
Is this possible? I would assume that if there is no ghost code, than it still in good working order. Just want the MAX to be tip top. BTW, I have 52K. I have a warranty and im not afraid to use it. LOL

You sure about that? I can't find anything in the FAQ about that particular symptom.
