My antenna hasn't been working for a little while now and I like to listen to the radio on the way into work. I thought it might have been stuck so I turned the radio on, pulled the antenna out, cleaned and greased it, turned the radio off and pushed it back in. The motor didn't make any noise and didn't sound like it had turned on when I did this. I took the molding off in the trunk to try to get to the antenna motor but found that the motor is in between the body and a piece of sheet metal. For those of you who fixed your antenna's, how did you go about doing it?

I ended up pulling that sucker out and replacing it at a junkyard ($75)

You pushed it back it...ok thats not good.. It is really easy to fix a power antenna. You can get to it really easy. Takes 30 min. max

I mean is there anything I should look for to fix it, or should I just look for a whole new unit and replace it?

You're looking for the entire module, since most junkyards wont part one out. unless you are certain that the mast or cabling alone is broken, you should spring for a "new" antenna.
