No. I am really not familiar with the 99's, but I know it is a pretty involved process to change the color of their gauge bulbs.

To get the bezel out. What you need to do is either drop the steerig wheel to the floor (easy, don't be scared) or take off the casing behind the steering wheel (The piece where the key goes and the turning and wiper arms.

98+ Use a "74" type bulb. Read the HowTo's if you want to learn how to convert it to 194, it is not very hard to do.

I did this mod a couple months ago, and I really like the results.

For gauge removal, the geocities link is really good, the only thing I did different was I pulled the dashboard piece out with the cruise control, dimmer switch, etc. still in the dash piece, which I pulled out afterwards...

As far as bulbs go, for my 96 Max I got five blue 194 LEDs with 4 LEDs per bulb from superbrightleds.com (to find the right bulbs, type in the URL, click on "LED BULBS & PRODUCTS," then click on "buy now" under the 12 volt LED car bulbs section... I had trouble finding this believe it or not), and they fit right into the stock light sockets...

How bright were the 4 Led ones? I was thinking of getting the 6-Led because othere org members were saying it looks better and is brighter. How does the 4 Led compare to the stock light and its brightness?

The 4 LED bulbs are really all you need. Of course, I haven't seen the 6-LEDs, but I'm really satisfied with the 4 LEDs... There are a few bright spots that you may have noticed on other people's pictures with the same 4 LED bulb setup, but it's not really that noticeable when driving and it doesn't bother me. The 4 LED bulbs are so bright that if I were to go with 2 more LEDs per bulb, I'd probably turn down my dimmer switch a little...

But hey, if you go with the 6 LEDs, take a picture and either post it or PM me, I'd like to see what they look like! Who knows, I may even switch!

I see, I'm going to order some 6-Led, and take some pics and post it up, I hope it wont be too bright, but thats what the dimmer is for. Kinda forgot about it cause the stock white is not that bright for me to turn it down.

Not too sure how those would do behind the guages. It will fit cause its the 194, but I think it wont be that bright, as bright as you may want it, correct me if I'm wrong.

check www.superbrightleds.com they have a nice selection of Leds, from very bright to not soo bright, something there should hopefully suit your taste.
