cam bolt question

I purchased the 3 degree kit from Tire rack which consisted of 2 12mm cam bolts on either side. I went to have them installed at the only place I let do my front end alignments. He siad I needed the 14mm bolts, and that the cam was touching nothing. What cam bolts is everyone else useing? I am useing sprint springs, and I do not like the idea of useing a four bolt kit. I would much rather just replace the top bolt for stregnth.
Let me know, thanks.

i think the word you are looking for is camber... not cam. anyhow the only camber bolts I know of are the eibach camber bolt kit which i would assume is what you got. i don't think there is a very wide selection of camber bolts for the max.

It is a "cam" bolt for "camber" correction. It is called a cam bolt due to the adjustment lobe on the bolt that sits inside the top strut mounting hole.
It is not the eibach kit.
I still need to know if everyone is useing the 12mm or 14mm bolts.
