Crash...then burned!

Well, its been a while since i posted here, but for good reason. About a year ago i crashed my '95 into a cement barrier. Three months later i was $200 away from the total repair cost when an electrical fire started in my garage at 2:00a.m. Everyone got out alive, except my dear '95. She melted and popped for three hours. Pics to come.

maybe this is a sign that he "shouldn't" own a maxima..

you probly just couldnt handle the max bro, maxine, of course...wants a man that can handle her. It is clear to see here, that your max committed suicide. I would recoment getting a honda..

jk...

Claim the car on your homeowner's insurance. The premiums probably wouldn't increase as much as the car insurance would if you claim it on that.

Well, good to hear that you and yours are okay.
Sorry to hear about a melted max.....as always.
mzmtg is right, he would probably not get enough for it to account for much.

Yeah, i got a red '93 SE with the insurance. This is my temporary max untill i can find another '95 5-speed with low miles, which should be a daunting task. I think I might buy my uncle's 86 300zx turbo and restore it over time, love that thing.
Oh yeah, on the renters insurance for the house. That expired two days before the fire and the bill had been under the mailbox for two months! go f*ckin figure!

All i gotta say is check the damn batteries in you smoke detectors. Saved our lives.

So did the entire place burn down or just the garage? I guess you had to pay for that?

Glad to hear everyone is alright. Let us know if insurance will scoop the bill.

If they want to replace your car or just cash to you, and get what you want (G35 coupe BLACK)

It took the garage and half the house including the kitchen, one bedroom, and half of the living room.

If you think thats sucks, my 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 600 was stolen about five months before any of this happened. Insurance covered that of course, but still, a bad year to say the least!
