You bought the shorty headers or did you buy the whole package including the y-pipe. Just use the y-pipe that came with the headers if you got both. And sell the CE y-pipe. I have both right now sitting on my bed, I will install them soon.

They're less expensive for a reason. The Cattman are the most expensive but they fit the best.

is it better to pair up cattman headers with a cattman y pipe rather that a warpspeed y pipe, or does it make no difference?

How is the fitment with these headers?i compared them to the stock exhaust manifolds and everything looks ok? Anyone think ill see any power gains? but i guess if i get no power gains atleast there will be weight reduction!!!!

if the stone racing are anything like obx then your y pipe is not going to fit the headers,on aftermarket ys the front header pipe goes up farther than the y pipe that matches your purchase, this may help

the SRH fit fine. it's just that you don't gain anything compaired to the time/money put into them. you lose a few hp below 3k and gain a few above +/- 5 hp in each case. only good thing about them is they are shiny.

The area under the curve on my dyno before/after suggests otherwise...I didn't lose any hp or tq.

But these dynos were done with the header/ypipe combo.

i'm talking about my buddy who installed them. he had a stillen cat back and y, pr intake, 5 speed, lots of other crap but thats about it for engine work at that time. anyways he had the SR headers in and thows were the results. i know Nashua. i'v met him. he works right next to my buddy actually. he gained and lost. but the gain was nothing worth talking about. the pipes on the shorty headers are not even the same lengths, to promote good flow. cattmans or no ones. all they do is look shiny. install is a *****.
