Help with a Power steering pump

Hey guys...I'm a newbie to the site as far as posting but have been a viewer for almost a year. Anyways...my 1995 Maxima's power steering pump is starting to make a squeeling noise (never a good sign and yes I am sure it is not the belt ).

Has anyone changed one of these units out and if so are there any tips you can give me?

I have looked around and can only easily see one of the bolts holding this unit on. Also, if anyone has suggestions as to where to inexpensively purchase a new pump I'm all ears.

Like any hydrallic system the biggest concern is contamination. Where that pump is located I am sure its not a job I would enjoy. The system will essentially bleed itself after you get it back together and with the engine running you turn the wheel lock to lock a couple times.

I am sure a Haynes manual would be fairly comprehensive on this task.

Good luck.
