I know that wear and tear slows and makes the engine louder. But is it possible to reverse these effects if the engine isn’t really abused? I would really like my engine to be a little quieter. I’m not saying it’s really loud, but I was told that it could be the timing belt. Any suggestions??? << THANKS 4 YOUR TIME<<<<<<<<

ok first thing first, you dont have a timing belt, you have a chain, and yes it will be louder then a belt. Second whats the noise? How does it sound, we nedd info before we can help.
