looking to get new seats for my 4 gen max. dont know if i should get nismo racing seats, maybe 5 gen seats, 350z seats or stay with a new set of 4 gen seats.

i vote for 350z seats.

and what do you mean by nismo seats, do you mean the ones on ebay? if so i say steer clear from those they look like cheap quality, besides i see the exact same design with rali art, or mugen plastered on em. 350z seats are the way to go.

 

how much are 350z seats... and are they a direct swap? or do you need custom brackets

those aren't really nismo... they took some generic ones and slapped that badge on. the "good" ones are the Sparco, Corbeau, etc.... some have done a 350z seats

 

if you want spring for some sparco torinos or some bride's... depends on how much you want to spend. i didn't want to spend too much on mine so i got some R-1 seats (look like sparco torino's) and i have no complaints about them. we just went canyon carving (left coast guys) and people were complaining about sliding around in their seats... i on the other hand had no such problems.

 

i've been seeing a lot of sellers on ebay selling "bride brix 2 or zeta 2" seats for $700 range plus shipping. has anyone ever tried contacting these guys? it can't be real can it? it's too good to be true, plus i hear there's a lot of counterfeit bride seats on the market. one "real" seat sells for $800 with rail easily. does anyone have any insight on this? my S13 and/or max can use some more holding power hehe. here's an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33701
