CustomMaxima STS or B&M STS?

I am looking at the Custommaxima.com short throw shifter and the B&M. I was just curious to hear some opinions of the custommaxima STS because it is half the price of the B&M. I would also like to hear what people say about the B&M, is it worth double the price?

i like my B&M. If I hadn't found it used I probably would've gotten the courtesy shifter. evidently it is essentially the same as the B&M but costs like $110.

I love my B&M, so smooth and solid. Just feels right. Don't know about Courtesy, never tried it.

Hey ManualMaxima (or anyone who has the cm STS for that matter), I'm going to buy the custommaxima STS pretty soon here, did you have to dent your cat shield to make it fit??

And what do you mean about "adjustable," like the height is adjustable or the throw distance is adjustable, or, better yet, both?

you need to, i didn't cause i did not have the sheild on there. But if i did i am sure you would need to if you still wanted to keep the shild on. If you do not adjust it all the way you don't need to but, for the 40% shortern throw you will need to. good choise

by adjustable. the pivot point on the shifter is adjustable , so yea you can make the throws shorter to your personal likes.
