brake light goes on and off?

brake light goes on and off?
What does it mean when the brake light comes on in my car without using the parking break. It only goes on under faster acceleration, stays on for a few minutes to all day.

your brake fluid level is probably low.

ur pads are gone and brake fluid is low. when pads are going out, pistons need more fluid to apply the brakes, therefore the level drops and the light goes on. had this problem and new pads fixed it
