Clutch acting funny this morning - WTF?

I parked my car outside overnight and when I got into the car this morning at about 11:45am the clutch gave me NO resistance until about the last 2" before the pedal touched the floor. I had the pedal all the way down and I still could not get the shifter into gear.

So I got the car rolling (it is a slight downhill, coming out of my driveway) and then with the clutch down, I was able to get it into gear. I drove it fine, getting in and out of gear, but the clutch still seems to be really mushy. I normally get resistance from the clutch pedal right away when I push it... but now I do not get any resistance until it is a few inches off the floor... I think it got better as I drove to work, but it is still mushy/fluffy... what's up???

BTW no leaks under the car so tranny fluid is all in there... didn't know what else to check at the time.

Your out of clutch fluid because your slave hose leaks and now you have air in your system. Refill wil brake fluid and bleed the system

Also if you plan on replacing your clutch hose, they have a stainless steel clutch line going on for $25.00 shipped in the group deal area. Could save you some $$$.

You guys are right... today I can hardly get into any gear!!! I am at work now and am afraid to drive it anywhere!! However I cannot bleed it right here at all. I think I might just have to try to take it to the dealership first thing when they open this morning and have them bleed the system for me.

I was afraid that the problem might be a master or slave cylinder, which all sound expensive to replace/fix.

Thanks for the input guys! I will let you know what it ended up being, hopefully by this afternoon.
