I need to replace my cv boot and my friend said there are ones that you can put on without having to take apart everything. He said it has a sort of hinge in it so it can be put on without the usual hassle of having to go through all the steps. This would greatly reduce the work, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these 2-part easy-install cv boots.

they really stink. you have to get the surfaces perfectly clean, let the glue cure, and it would take a miracle to go get it correct.
