yes.

If you're on AT&T Wireless, for whatever reason, it won't work, even though they are GSM.

For people with a CDMA provider (like me), I found that if you're really out of range, place your cellphone (antenna pointing outwards) against your chin, and point it right against the base of the power antenna at the back of the car (taller individuals will have to kneel or go down on your knees). Of course, while doing this, the person on the other line with the "other" remote must also do the same, but with their remote.

HAHAHAHA LOL

I heard on one of the radio station today. I thought they were kidding.

Question: What if you only have a spare key and no remote? Duhhh!!!

I better go to ebay and get one of those remote. Now I have to find the sticky that shows you how to program the remote. Does it work over cordless phone?

Let me get a slimjim and hid it under my car. Just in case I needed it. There are time you lock yourself out and you have nothing with you. You wallet (with spare key), phone and keys are in the car. What do you do?

This thread should be the joke of the day.

Just a little story just in case this ever happens.....I had my car locked and opened the trunk to get my school work about a year ago. I set the keys down and closed the truck so they were stuck in the truck. Luckily my sun roof was tilted up but the inner fabric pat thing was closed so I had to stick my hands in there and slowly pull the cover back. Then I could see inside the car and me and a buncha girls from school from the tennis team were at this park for their tournament. I was probably 50 miles from home.

So anyways went in search of a LONG *** tree branch to hit the unlock all button through the small opening in the tilted sunroof. Well after breakin off a bunch limbs from trees and damaging almost all the trees in the park I found a long branch. Then I shimmied it in there and FINALLY after a ton of time manuvering I hit the button and the doors unlocked and the alarm sounded since it was supposed to be locked. Well this was during tennis regionals so schools were playing right in front of my car in the courts and were pissed when the alarm went off.....I then had to hurry and open the door, hit the trunk release, get the keys from the trunk and disable the alarm....it was crazy.

I would have never been able to do it without the sunroof being ajar.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Always leave your sunroof tilted up and UNLOCK your door before you open the trunk...also make sure there are lots of trees nearby =)

ALSO: If you ever lock yourself outta your car make sure it happens when you have a buncha girls in short skirts nearby

This works with TV remotes too!

I just tried it out, I was driving like 50 miles away from my house, and I had my tv remote. I called my twin brother and told him to look the TV. Then I turned it on! It freaked him out.

Ive locked myself out of my Maxima twice...

Nothing works as well as a spare brake line to jimmy into the car and press the unlock button... all of about 30 secs to get the door open.
