Those w/ Painted Dash

Those who have painted their dash.....was anyone with a manual climate control able to paint the whole face? Please post pics. I want to do mine over, but i'm afraid if i paint over the face, i will lose the numbers around the fan settings.

Blue tape is the best. Use that on it. I dont think it would be easy though.

I think it looks cleaner with the manual AC left black. I can't imagine a tape job looking very good in the end.

minor threadjack.

leaving the center console black may be the cleanest, but after 5 years is gets a little plain. plus, it fades at a different rate than the bose radio so it looks retarded after a while.
I painted it with a duplicolor nissan platinum color to match the 20th anniversary maxima gearshift ****. I dig it. But my climate control is automatic so i'm not much help with this thread...
