Just looking to find out what models/years are covered? How to find out if mine was replaced by previous owner, i.e. any noticeable difference in per- and post-recall alts. I noticed recently that at idle with only my headlights and fogs on, at idle, my int. lights dim, but pick up to 1,500 RPMs and they are fine. I assume that a factory alt. would at least push enough current to keep stock accesories in the green, i.e., >12.6 V or at least 50 amps at idle. If it has been replaced, this sucks and I would like to know where to get a good H/O alt., 150+ amps at idle, as I will be installing over 5k watts of stereo shortly, unless I sell it for another Max first. I appreciate anyone's help.
