..i found that i can check the model ID# to find out, but: I read that the final five digits after A32EUA or A32EVA can tell u. I only see 4 digits. I have A32EUA-AFLA.

Does the "-" count as a digit???

yeah, i thought that too. Im just checking becasue I was trying to order an front driver side axel for my car and there is one with an las and one without an lsd.

I asked autozone and they said to jack up the fron end. Have it in gear. Spin on of the tires. If the other tire spins in the opposite direction then there is NO lsd. If they are the same, then there is lsd.

here's how u tell...
Rev the motor.
pop the clutch
2 lines = lsd
1 black line on the pavement = no lsd.

Canadian winter packages have the lsd factory installed. From what I know, it was not made availble to our american counterparts.

take care.

look at the pic posted above. See the trans axel code. RE4F04A is non-LSD. RE4F04V is LSD.

Yeah, I dont have it. I asked the guys at autozone just to make sure, and they said that if you jack up the front end of the car, have the car off, have it in gear, and spin one tire with your hands, you can tell. If the tires spin in opposite directions, then you do NOT have lsd. If they spin in the same direction, you have lsd.

But, the reason I was so confused was that on my silver plate under my hood. I have a dash in the model id number, where as in the pic there is none.
Where is says (BLHULVA)A32EUASAFNA , I have A32EVA-AFLA
(There is an S where I have a dash)

I was reading that the five final digits after A32EUA or A32EVA are the optoin codes. If the second digit is A,D,E, or G, then the vehicle is equipped with a LSD.

SO, therefore the "-" does act as a one of the five last digits.
