Injen CAI knockoff...

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I have a 98 Auto Max, and i'm looking for something that looks like the Injen CAI (so I dont have to cut out a hole in my car) DO the Ebay knockoff intakes (with maybe a K&N filter) Give the same results as the Injen?

I'm sorry, I just think $272 is way too much for an intake.

Thanx.

yes, they are the same... i bought one, and ordered couplers from injen. couldn't tell the difference other than a few stickers and the filter...

i later decided to just go short ram so i bought a pr style and used the midpipe and im still gonna get a k&n.

tavarish,
I've got an injen CAI that's like 2 months old with about 2k miles on it. I'm going to be taking it off soon; giving up on modding my auto. $272 really is too steep for the intake, but how does $150 plus shipping sound? I think that's not too bad of a price. I still have the original box, and all the stuff that came with it. Model number is 1930P, with the polished piping and black hoses. Looks nice and shiny and sounds great. Let me know if you'd be interested. Sorry to waste your time if you're not.

Skip the INJEN, worst intake for the max.

injen is just giong to suck the hot air coming off your radiator, itll be even worse when those radiator fans kick in, heating both the filter and the air surrounding. hack your airbox and stick in a K&N panel, itll cost you about $35 total
