Do you have any idea how shaved door handles would look? I've never really heard of this, is it just removing the door handles completely?

Do you know if it is possible to change my steering wheel to a real wood one? Do they make these with airbags?

I recently unpluged my antenna because I hate when it comes up. I still get a signal but there is always a little static. I've seen newer cars that don't have antennas at all. Are they built into the rear window? How can I get a good signal without the antenna up?

How can install a system for my cell phone to be integrated like some are factory built? I want to have a speaker somewhere and maybe a mic on the steering wheel.

Thank you so much. If you don't know the answer to some of these, don't worry about it.

You actually have an antenna built into the rear window. Look at your rear defroster and look for the pattern that seems to have a mind/design of its own. That is the second antenna..........Bock, Bock...Chickenhead!

I'm the wrong guy to advise you on mods. My own Maxima is very nearly stock.
My field of interest is more along the line of diagnosis and repairs.

Removing door handles has been done by customizers for many years. Whether it looks good is "in the eye of the beholder." If you remove the doorhandles you have to devise some other way to open the doors. Whatever method you choose should be one which can cope with a dead battery.

Shaved door handles would look really good. You just remove the door handles completely and shave it off to make it smooth and then get it painted. You installed door poppers that you can run from a remote control to pop open your door to get in. It's usually also a good idea to have a secret emergency door popper in case your battery should happen to die. You can buy the Nokia Car Kit if you want to be able to talk out loud while your phone is in the cradle. Then you can hear your conversations on the speaker phone.
