The hid's are direct plug and play. you wont have any problems installing it.

Use 9004 kit if you dont do a projector retro (u'll have to reaim your headlights but still u will glare on coming cars) or use D2s (phillips oem kit) to fit into the projector (highly recomended)...
the fogs are h3s so find an h3 kit and plug and play.

Yea, that was the point of this thread. Maybe it was a bad idea to have started it but you guys can now end this dispute. Ive decide to get the 8000k for its cool blue to go with the stock amber bumpers. Then ... wait, theres more ... another kit for my fogs for more visibility when I need it and not blind the 'soccer mom' in the minivan in front of me when I dont. Problem solved. Case closed.

I got a solution to all HIDs. Make a custom glare shield like I did. It cuts a lot of the glare. e-mail at hottboi949@sbcglobal.net and I'll show you how to make your own.

That's funny(yet frustrating)!!!!! After all the arguing about what kind to get and what's more useful....

BTW people with HIDs without projectors are the reason that HIDs got banned in the US market in the first place.

I agree. I just bought some 9004 HID's and the light that come from these is insane! I will have to figure out a way to cut the glare down or I will have to sell them and do some projectors, maybe.

That's the same reason I sold my 6000k McCulloughs. The light output is insane...i felt sorry for the people that I blinded when it turned night. The only way to really go is projectors.

I'd go that way but i'm a poor student

I got the HIDs aimed pretty low but not all the way, very very rarely do i get high beamed by on comming traffic.

And compare to my Gf's Stock HIDs in her Lexus, my 8600K Headlights and Piaa Ion Crystal Fogs seem to shine better. even she says so when driving my car!

it is just he best to have cause that is where color and usablitliy meet. So you get alittle of both.
this man speaks the truth

OEM is 4300K and that is the most functional, 6000k makes the HIDs look more beemerish or audish and coolor color

The reason there is a blueish tint has to do with the projector, not the bulb itself.

and thats why people buy 6000k and higher trying to imitate the 4300k with projector look.... form over function or function first? I have 5000 something K bulbs with my HIDs

At first, was all for looks and got the Hanabi 6000K kit from Freddie. Then I lost high beams and blinded people everywhere I went (especially out in the burbs). I got rid of them and got the Catz kit and have been pleased plus I pass inspection without even thinking about it.
