Now, I know alot of people on the Org do not like Altezza tails, but I love mine alot. I have the first gen lights on my 99 GLE. They go really well with my light gold paint.

I would like to see some pics of other people's Altezzas. If you love your Altezza lights, post them here. And don't be afraid to show them off, the opinions of the "haters" does not matter when it comes to YOUR car.

Chrome altezzas look horrible on a gold car... the Gen 2's look MUCH better but are still ugly.

 

I'll work on it. I haven't moved into the new age of digital cameras yet So it will take a little time. The gen 2's are dark aren't they? I don't think it would look that great on mine since the paint is a light shade. Maybe if you have a dark paint scheme the gen 2's would look better.

 

Gen 2's in Carbon fiber look good on black, red and white cars but thats it. Regular altezzas are just so damn played out its not even funny. Its like the all clear lights from back in teh day.

 

Maybe I'm getting too old at my ripe age of 28 cause i happen to like the all clears lol.

i mentally dont see how somebody can like them, but w/e you know...

 

Since I got the stock lights sitting in my garage..i just may try out that red/clear mod. Not saying I'll use it, but something to do I guess. why do people like them so much? They don't seem that great. Wouldn't notice them unless you're a Maxaholic.

 

Let me be the first and proud! I like em! I'd love to do the Gen2 carbon & trunk conversion cus they rock, and I will do this someday. Besides I hate sheep, and those hand painted red tails look , they're worst thing I've ever seen! And people paying $300 for the same tail light they had previously but without an amber lens!

Blackout just the amber part... other than red clears, thats the only other path I'd take with a 95/96

they are nice because they are a subtle change and the only time i get comments on them are when a dude with a stock max looks at his, then at mine and says......where'd you get those tail-lights

thats what i been saying man.. i've had my 1st gen alteeza's on my max for like 3 yrs and i think they make my max look really clean.. especially with my DC clears, plat. tint, and light combo.. I originally putt hem on to get rid of all the orange and i love the look... Its not ricey like a lot of peeps will tell you.. Oh well to each their own I guess

 

everyone likes the red/clears because they feel the altezzas look ricey... i wonder how they feel when they are parked next to a honda that also has those same red/clears. i like my gen 2's and u should get wat u like.

but u wanna kno wat i think is ricey.. a white car with a carbon fiber hood its like not being able to make up your mind wat color u want the car to be.
