Now I'm REALLY Pissed!

This is turning into a real fiasco. I had both front wheel bearings/ hub ( whatever it is replaced under warranty from Nissan, about 3 and 5 months ago respectively due to that low speed- high pitched whining sound, and now- Its back. What the hell else could it be? Is def. something that is spinning. WTF, anybody else with the high pitched whining?

i'm with ya. I got the problem right after I got my rims so I thought it has something to do with wheels, but I guess not.
It sure is annoying, but i'm waiting for true solution for the problem.

seriously- when I take it to Nissan, its a PITA b/c of course it doesnt make the noise, and they cant recreate the problem, and then its always sunday when it starts singing again. I have had both axles replaced too! I mean, how many things could possibly be spinning at the wheel that has not been replaced? It sounds like when you run your finger across a piece of vynal (sp) When they replaced the hub bearing, it was quiet for a few months. I even have the head guy in the service dep ride in the car and he heard it and said that it was definately the hub bearing and that they would replace it. I am chasing my damn tail . I know some others have had this probelm. what did YOU have replaced?

I get the same sound, whenever im in a parking lot rolling by other cars with the windows down. Its a high pitched squeal and it's tone is relitive to speed and not effected by braking. I have MOMO arrows on my car and the previous owner did not use hub centric rings on them. After I installed the proper rings the squeals went away for a few months but now its come back and its worse than before. This winter I was planning on replacing my front wheel bearings but now im not so sure if thats the problem.

check the splash guard behind your claipers. if they get bent even a little theyll start to scrape on your disc.
