By my measurements I was going 160mph and it was wv mountains some turns. I do have a nice video going 140mph on a 2 lane road I will have to post sometime passing on coming traffic at 140 is cool!

 

I ran 179 on just seafoam in the gas tank. That stuff rocks!

 

Well, your measurements were really off.

 

I did 141mph in Nov. 1998, about a year after I bought the car.
I was racing another maxima se who couldn't pass me. So I guess he was also doing 140mph. My knees were knocking and my hands were shaking when I got to the stoplight. I'll never do that again.

only gxes have governed speed limiters, you could do the mod for it, its in the faqs

 

GLEs have it as well don't they? Only SEs are governor free.

When do 4th gen's run out of gear, or what mph is redline (6600)? What about with MEVI/JWT giving the 7100rpm redline (assuming you have enough power from boost, etc.)?

i've had my car pegged out at 140+ on several occassions. I had her up to 130 mph this morning.

 

I Pinned Out My Car Past 140 But I Didnt Have Anyone Clock It Wit A Radar... I Believe I Was Doin Well Over 145 Cuz Ive Driven Cars At About 169 And It Didnt Feel That Fast But It Felt Fater Than 145
