Jesus, it doesn't stop

About a week ago, I posted a thread about my tail light being kicked in. Prior to that, more damage was done to my car only that time, by the City. In the course of giving me a parking ticket, the negligent attendant snapped a pair of plastic clips that keep the wiper on the arm and so now my driver-side wiper is less than functional. Today, I recieved a letter from the City and they're denying me compensation. <sigh>

Let the arm fall back into place rather than set it down. They're eight years old but I lift them weekly to wash my car and the passenger side is fine.

Yeah, this towns has crap streets. My friend just wrecked a rim driving into an unmarked pot hole. They refused compensation enough though they had construction equipment in the area, saying that they hadn't started on it yet so it wasn't a construction site. Rim was too far gone to fix/be worth anything so it ended up thrown into the fountain of city hall. I like it....

Go to the state. Raise hell. They'll give you money to "shut up" eventually.

I don't want money from the state; I want it from my City because they were to blame. I'm fighting for the princples, not just the $.

I just got pulled over for my second DUI and i was only a lil bit over the limit.
So that pisses me off, now I'm gonna serve at least 5 days in jail and also get fined. Insurance is gonna sky. The policeman that arrested me was cool though, he has a Maxima and we talked about them on our way to the station.
Anyway, I also previousely got pulled over in Glenwood, and the cops there are just suckers.(I could use more choice words but better not). Authority sucks. Get your money from those bullies and mark your victory.

You were drunk if you were over the limit.

THT I would just take it up with the city and see what they can do for you. Usually they don't want to put up with citizens that have a problem since there are so many of us. They will probably just give you the money back if you rant and rave enough.
