Viper alarm with GPS like OnStar

I found the link to the Viper GPS website. You can track your car with your computer anytime you want, even the speed. So if you let your friend, brother, etc., borrow your car for some insane reason, you can track it, see where they are, how fast they're going, etc. The only thing that would make me hesitate about this system is that Big Brother would be watching too. Imagine if an insurance company could see how fast you were going all the time... would they still give you the same rates ? Anyway, below is the link. It's a great alternative to OnStar for cars that can't have OnStar.

Cool, was it a standard set-up, where it just unlocks the trunk or would the trunk actually open all the way up? I'm hoping I can somehow get that done on my car, it gets annoying to have to manually lift the trunk-lid, with books and stuff in hand. I've seen all the higher end, beamers and benz trunks just seem to all automatically spring up all the way. Would it only require some springs/shocks or something.

Itll only release it, like your lever does now. To raise it would require struts...
