bump bump..

still available.... quick! before the time runs out-

if you have MEVI, you MUST notify them so they can change the A/F accordingly..

how will they know what to put the a/f as if you have the mevi? have they dynoed max's with mevi's and know what a/f they require up top?

So can I send my G force ECU in and have its REV limiter raised for the 50$ charge???

Have you ever dyno'ed your car with the new variable intake? If so, could you send it over with the A/F chart? As far as A/F, it shouldn't matter too much. But we'd like to see everyone's individual A/F chart anyway.

YOu should be able to pick up an ecu out of a local wrecking yard or on car-part.com for < $100.

TWO THUMBS UP FOR TECHNOSQUARE CUSTOMER SERVICE (with a little help from FED-EX)

My ECU landed at their shop yesterday at 11:30 PST. It is back sitting on my desk today at 13:00 EST.

wow, hadn't checked back in awhile!

great work TS, and thanks Chebosto and Deezo.

No if I can only come up with the 400 bucks. Argh, I was going to put it into projectors or leather. Darn it. Decisions, decisions.

any chance a deal on the TS ECU will be revived?

also just outta curiousity, how does the TS ECU affect gas mileage for NA applications?

gas mileage stays pretty much the same, until you get on it

Gas mileage will be the same if not better than stock overall (if you maintain the same driving habits). During closed-loop operation O2 sensor feed-back is still used to keep the A/F ratio close to 14.7:1 so gas mileage will be identical in this case. During open-loop operation the gas mileage will improve over stock since the ECU is tuned to run leaner in this condition.

thanks. when does the ecu operate closed-loop and when does it operate open-loop?

Closed loop is part throttle and IIRC warm idle. Open loop is cold start idle and WOT.

thanks

donate 20 and search?

In short, the ECU is a car's computer. The stock fuel and ignition mappings are not the best so a technosquare or jwt ECU upgrade reprograms the ECU with an optimized version of these mappings/timings. You can also raise your rev limiter and/or get JWT/TS to fine tune your ECU if you have a turbo or supercharger for even better performance.

With an upgraded ECU, you're lookin at broader torque curve and higher peak hp figures (15hp+).

Kinda true.
With the Technosquare ecu you get the adjusted AFR and advanced timing.
With a couple of autos they were able to raise the rev limiter.
The JWT offers the same, but also raises the rev limiter. JWT also has programs for Forced induction and NO2 setups.
Modded ECU's give you much better low end and increased throttle response.
