Make a custom glare shield for your aftermarket HIDs

I have 8000K HIDs and they glare a crap load. So I thought up and idea to make my own glare shield for the lights and to my surprise it cut a lot of glare without losing light output. Now, I don't get flashed by oncoming drivers. I recommend this to anyone who has HIDs and has problems with glare. e-mail me at hottboi949@sbcglobal.net and I'll send you pics and how to make your OWN glare shield.

Even still, you have no high beams.

Later on today or later in the week, I'll post more pics. At the bottom of the page, I have A pic.

True, still no hi-beams.

I do have one picture of my HIDs with the shield (you can see my car is dirty, by the spots on the headlight), here is the link to the pic.

More pics will be posted soon on my Yahoo Briefcase

To tell you the truth, the beam pattern is OK. It isn't sharp as projectors, but it does cut off light instead of the glare-like splatters of light.
